Make A Difference Day School Project

Make A Difference Day Project

Tamaqua Area Middle School

The Student Council will be sponsoring a Make A Difference Day project from October 1st through October 25th. All items that are collected will be donated to the Tamaqua Hunger Campaign and County Collectibles, a branch of the Department of Human Services. County agencies and food pantries will benefit from our collection. Make A Difference Day, October 26th, is the National Day of Doing Good sponsored nationally by the USA Weekend in partnership with the Points of Light Foundation.

The Student Council is asking all middle school students and their families to help make a difference in the lives of the needy in Schuylkill County. From October 1-25, collection boxes will be available in classrooms. The items needed are listed below.

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Mrs. Megan Frantz at the Tamaqua Area Middle School, 570-668-1210.
