7th Grade Science

 

 

 

Students will be studying many different aspects of science this year. Some of the areas of study this year will be genetics. We will look at how and why living things are different. Students will explore how genetics leads to natural selection and the differing species. We will learn how these species become fossils, which gives us information about the past. Students will explore the importance of nutrients and farming. They will follow a drop of water through its cycle and look at the different states of matter. Finally, this will lead into a weather discussion and how weather forms.
