8th Grade Students are interviewed.  Discussion includes future college/career plans, selection of high school classes, grades, etc.

 

7th Grade Students complete an individual survey.

 

6th Grade Students are given an overview the first week of school of what is available in the guidance office.  The overview includes:

                        Academic Guidance

                        Indivudual Counseling

                        Group Counseling

                        Referrals to Outside Agencies (Parents should contact me at 668-1210 if they feel a  need for involvement.)                                                                        

                        Schedulilng Conflicts/Problems

                        PSSA Testing

                        Crisis Intervention

                        Parent Contacts

                        Setting Goals

                        Respect

                       Time Management

                       Organization

                       Peer Pressure

                       Bullying

                       Wise Choices

                       Responsibility

                       Planners

 

Individual Counseling is available to students as needed.  I have an "Open Door" Policy.

Group Counseling is available through the Student Assistance Program.
