Course Description: The seventh grade science course will focus on the following science topics:
Unit 1- Life: Structure and Function
Unit 2- Life: Changes and Interactions
Unit 3- Energy and Matter
Unit 4 Earth: A Dynamic Planet
Unit 5- Exploring the Universe
Texts: McGraw Hill/Glencoe Intergrated Science, Course 2
Evaluation Procedures: Students will be evaluated through unit tests, quizzes, lab work, and special projects. There will be a total points system, with each assignment differing in the amount of points. This will be based on the importance of the assignment, number of questions or problems, and other factors. Check Focus often.
